Pettrailer UK wins Theo Paphitis SBS Award

Pettrailer UK, Pet Search Teams: training and lost animal search organisation has received a business boost from Retail Entrepreneur Theo Paphitis. We tweeted Theo about our lost animal search during ‘Small Business Sunday’ and was one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet or repost by Theo to his over half a million followers. The weekly initiative, was set up by Theo in 2010, now has over 3,500 #SBS winners and supports small businesses in the UK.

Business and retail entrepreneur and self-confessed Shopkeeper, Theo re‐tweeted our message to his over 500,000 followers and as a result, we have more followers and awareness of our unique specialist training and community activities.

As a winner, Pettrailer UK established in 2017 is also profiled on the #SBS website that is exclusive to all Small Business Sunday winners.

“It is great to have support from Theo because it has been tough trying to raise our profile and Theo has recognised our hard work and helped spread the word about what we do to his following.Running your own business, providing specialist training to pet owners and assisting families in lost animal search is incredibly rewarding. However, working on your own can be really hard work. I’m extremely grateful to have the support of Theo to help raise our profile. Having our hard work recognised by such a significant figure in the business community is a real boost.”

One of the biggest highlights of this award win was finding out that only 0.8% of entrants get this award! Attending the SBS Event 2023 in Birmingham was amazing. Meeting up with fellow small business owners, fellow pet businesses (who’s event pass colour was green!), listening to inspirational key note talks from Theo Paphitis, Mark Blundell, Google, amongst others and of course receiving our award and having a photo opportunity with Theo himself!
